Christchurch - The Garden City of New Zealand

Christchurch, which is known for its contrasting features, is located on the East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The area was first settled by the people of moa-hunting tribes who were then followed by the Waitaha. It was followed by several other migrants until the Europeans arrived and settled it in 1850. The coastal city of Christchurch is the second largest city in New Zealand. Christchurch is also a gateway to the Antarctica.
